Landline phones and broadband are often combined and can even include a TV package.
There is a huge variety of packages out there and it is difficult to know which one is right for you. These factors are the main ones to look at:
- Call Costs (Local and International)
- Free Calls?
- Quality of Broadband (e.g. 1mb 2mb 4mb 8mb… shared etc.)
- TV included? What Channels?
- Installation Costs.
- Introductory offers and Ongoing Costs.
- Your likely usage of the service.
- Line Rental.
- Cost of multiple lines. (maybe a separate line for the kids etc.)
- Fax line?

We all want to get the best value for money when buying a mobile phone. In pursuit of the best deal people often go for the package that offers them the most minutes of talk time or go for offers with too few minutes.
The best thing to do if you already have a mobile phone, is to examine your existing call pattern. Look at the number of calls and texts you make per month. What networks you call and text to.
